Dance Takes Over RTVE’s La 1 with ‘Dance If You Can’

“Dance If You Can” is the new show captivating audiences on La 1, brought to you by RTVE in collaboration with Zeppelin (Banijay Iberia). Hosted by Anne Igartiburu, this innovative talent show throws down the gauntlet to 16 dance professionals to showcase their skills as dancers and choreographers. They’ll be guiding eight celebrities, including Sabrina Salerno, Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, Ana Guerra, Fabiola Martínez, and Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera, through an array of dance styles, from contemporary to hip-hop.

The show features a star-studded cast of celebrities paired with professional dancers like Alba Keita, Iván Guijo, and Sandra-Ly Flor, aged between 18 and 38, who are all passionate about dance and excel in styles ranging from flamenco to jazz.

A panel of esteemed professionals from the dance and entertainment industry, such as Beatriz Luengo, Rafa Méndez, Norma Duval, and Yolanda Ramos, will judge the weekly performances. Contestants will face off, presenting choreographies assigned by the show and critiqued by the panel.

In addition to solo performances, contestants will tackle group challenges, choreographed by Aarón Mata, with themes from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to “Another Day of Sun” from “La La Land.” These challenges will test their teamwork and creativity.

Spanning 10 weeks, the show will culminate in a grand finale where the final pairs will vie for a €50,000 prize. “Dance If You Can” promises an exhilarating spectacle, blending fun, drama, and talent, highlighting the dancers’ dedication and offering celebrities an extraordinary journey outside their comfort zones.
