Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Mehdi Buzzed Off Britain’s Got Talent 2014 Final

“Sound the alarm! It’s Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Mehdi”

Fairly early in today’s live performance of the Britain’s Got Talent 2014 Final, Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Mehdi were buzzed off the stage by Simon.

The other judges were giving him some flak. David Williams apparently shouted, “It was too sexy for him.” Simon said it just wasn’t as good as their earlier acts.

Williams was wrong. The problem is that this dance wasn’t sexy enough.

Check this earlier performance where they play a bit with gender and sexuality. Then take a look at this video which takes it to another level.

Today’s performance was run-of-the-mill “dancing to pop music in a tight unit that always faces front” choreography. Remove the costumes and attitudes (uh, metaphorically speaking) and what’s left is fairly mundane.

Rightly buzzed I’m afraid.
