Trauma Scenes 1 & 2 Offer A Different View Of The Body From Arca & Jesse Kanda

“Arca & Jesse Kanda – TRAUMA Scene 1”

Time for one of those avant garde moments here at DanceLand.

The combined force of filmmaker Jesse Kanda and music producer Arca has resulted in a variety of takes on figuration some find disturbing.

TRAUMA Scenes 1 & 2 are only a slight departure from their other music videos in that they’re considered part of a larger project, a visualization of Arca’s &&&&& mix.

Unlike their other videos, at least the ones I’ve seen, Scene 2 is of an actual person rather than an animated figure. Definitely worth a look.
