Taylor Swift’s Music and Dance Video ‘ME!’ ft. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco [+LIVE!]

“Taylor Swift – ME! (feat. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco)”

Taylor Swift’s new video “ME!” was released at midnight and it’s got lots of dancing with both Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco leading large group numbers. They put a lot of dancers to work for this one. And used a lot of pastel fabric!

Swift teased the release of the video via an extended set of clues shared on Instagram. She followed the release of the video with the first live performance from the Billboard Music Awards below.

Taylor Swift & Brendon Urie – “ME! Live at The Billboard Music Awards”

There was a behind-the-scenes video as expected but no dancing. Instead, we have this big stage production from the Billboard Music Awards. Like many Beyonce fans the marching band drummers immediately reminded me of Beyonce’s new documentary but I can’t get upset at that. Neither invented the marching band and we’ve seen previous waves of performers using them. For example, there was a period in hip hop when marching band music was sampled and used in various way in rap tracks. But that’s been a minute.

On a more serious note, Beyonce’s choreographers and directors have an established history of directly ripping off other artists so there’s no room there for judgement.
