Strive Trains Dance Artists For Community Teaching In England

“Strive: A snapshot of the programme’s impact after the second year of three”

Strive 2015:

“Led by DanceXchange, and funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Strive is a training course for 12 dance artists (prioritising those based in the West Midlands) who want to develop skills and confidence in delivering dance activity for marginalised communities.”

Interested artists have until November 30th to apply.

Clyde F. Smith

DanceLand founder Clyde F. Smith has a BFA and MA in Dance from UNC-Greensboro and a PhD in Cultural Studies from The Ohio State University. In addition to staging his own works, Clyde performed with NC's New Performing Dance Company and San Francisco's The High Risk Group. Clyde returned to performing in 2015 with an improvisational project called Working Sessions.
