Royal Ballet Dancers Share A Behind The Scenes Look At The Tutu

“Dancers from the Royal Ballet talk about the tutu”

This is an interesting look at the tutu from the dancers as well as some of the costumers of the Royal Ballet. It is an older video and I will be looking for more since there are a lot of great dance videos out there that deserve more attention.

Tutus are a rather odd feature of ballet and they also raise some interesting performance issues for dancers especially when partnering as discussed in the video.

Tutus are also a great example of something that looks incredibly odd to outsiders but is an unremarkable norm for insiders.
