Pharrell Williams Backed By Chinese-Influenced Dancing In Gust of Wind

“Pharrell Williams – Gust of Wind”

Another big music video that features dancing yet, like Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, doesn’t identify any of the dancers or the choreographer.

Over at YouTube they identify the director and composers and this and that but not the dancers. Oh no.

It’s certainly not the greatest video but it is interesting to see what seem to be Chinese influences on the choreography and direction.

The early stuff reminds me of those acrobatic dancers with ribbons and, of course, the later sections of the video are more obviously playing off kung fu movies with wire tricks.
