Nick Cannon Makes Directorial Debut With School Dance ft. The Rangers

Though Nick Cannon says that School Dance, his feature film directorial debut, will be the next House Party (see video below) those are big shoes to fill!

The movie is a light-weight tale of a high school student that wants to join The Rangers dance crew.

I get the feeling it’s more of a comedy than a dance movie which is unfortunate because it appears likely to have some great dancing as well as some comic dancing, i.e., it might be a better movie if there was more dancing!

But I haven’t seen it yet. If you like the humor and the dancing in the trailer, you’ll probably like the movie just fine.
