Dancer and Violist Bring Contemporary Approach To Breakin’ Convention 2014

“Duwane Taylor & Sarah Sarhandi – Charmed: Breakin’ Convention 2014”

This is an interesting performance piece in an unexpected setting, Breakin’ Convention 2014 at Sadler’s Wells in London.

Dancer and choreographer Duwane Taylor asks the “question what happens when the roles are reversed and the movement controls the music? What will the outcome be when the movement breaks free from its expected predictable movement?”

Sarah Sarhandi is a noted violist who has done numerous arts collaborations while Taylor is exploring the artistic possibilities of street dance.

So while one might not expect such a piece at a breaking festival, Taylor and Sarhandi are not surprisingly the people performing Charmed.
