Eisenstadt Turns White Again: 20,000 Attended Last Year’s Debut, More Expected This Weekend
This weekend, the heart of Eisenstadt will once again be transformed into a vibrant celebration as the city hosts the second edition of “Eisenstadt in White”. Following last year’s overwhelming success, when more than 20,000 people flocked to the city center for the premiere, organizers are anticipating even greater turnout thanks to a refreshed and expanded program.
Shopping and Entertainment on Friday
The festivities kick off on Friday, June 6, with a long shopping night in the pedestrian zone, where stores will remain open late, inviting visitors to stroll and shop at leisure. As evening falls, the city’s main street will evolve into a party strip, with live performances across three stages. Bands representing a wide range of music genres will take the spotlight, offering free entertainment to the public.
Adding to Friday’s excitement, the courtyard of the historic Esterházy Palace will once again host the popular “Friday Night Ö3 Disco,” promising a lively atmosphere and plenty of dancing in an iconic setting.
Saturday Clubbing at the Palace and Beyond
The celebration continues on Saturday, June 7, with a full-blown clubbing night. Multiple dance floors will be set up, including for the first time inside the palace itself. In another new highlight for 2024, the Orangerie in the palace park will be opened as an additional venue, offering two floors of music and dancing under the night sky.
With its blend of shopping, live music, historical charm, and nightlife, “Eisenstadt in White” is quickly becoming one of the region’s standout summer events. Organizers are encouraging guests to dress in white once again and join thousands of others in turning the city into a glowing celebration of unity and fun.
