Celia Rowlson-Hall: From Cover Girl Dances To Dance Magazine’s Cover

“Lena Dunham & Hamish Bowles in ‘Cover Girl’ – Vogue Original Shorts”

So I’d posted the above video at All World Dance a while back, including the video for learning the dance, but didn’t really know anything else about the choreographer Celia Rowlson-Hall.

But she’s on the cover of this month’s Dance Magazine and now I know a lot more about her.

In addition to creative dances for everyday people, which I dig cause I used to choreograph with untrained dancers back in the day, she’s also a filmmaker and I think currently working on a feature film she Kickstarted.

The award-winning short film below is not your typical narrative but more a state of being in which to drop. If you allow yourself, you’ll enter an altered state of consciousness in which bits and pieces of many different stories are loosely connected and intertwined.
