9 Couples Break Guinness Dance Marathon World Record On Valentine’s Day

“Ripley’s Dance Marathon Winners”

A Guinness World Record for dance marathons was set on Valentine’s Day in Pattaya, Thailand in the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Dance Marathon.

The competition started with 10 couples and only one quit over the course of the “35 hours, one minute and one second” long marathon. “The previous record was set by a Mexican couple in 2008 who danced for 35 hours.”

The video below, though not in English, has excellent footage from the beginning of the marathon. So fresh and rested they were though clearly prepared for a long haul!
